COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT – STATUS UPDATE
March 16, 2020
A SINGLE STICK CAN BE BROKEN BUT A BUNDLE OF STICKS DOES NOT BREAK EASILY! WE ARE UNITED AS ONE! STAY FOCUSED, SAFE AND STRONG!
The Shred Truck will remain open for business at this time. We plan to continue our operations for as long as our customers stay open and need our services. The Shred Truck has always been committed to providing a safe environment for our Customers and Employees. OUR PEOPLE AND OUR COMMUNITIES ARE WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO US, AND YOUR SAFETY REMAINS OUR TOP PRIORITY!
We understand that you may have some questions when it comes to what we’re doing in response to news surrounding COVID-19 (commonly known as novel coronavirus). Over the last several weeks, we have been following the guidelines and procedures outlined by the CDC, WHO and regulatory agencies. As details continue to evolve, we want to share additional safety measures we have put in place to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers:
- We are conducting regular and frequent disinfecting of high-touch areas on our trucks and bins.
- We are supplying disinfectant wipes to our drivers.
- We are reinforcing illness prevention procedures with all The Shred Truck employees, including frequent hand-washing, avoiding contact with your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands, and avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
- We are instructing employees if they are exhibiting symptoms of illness to stay home or seek care from a medical provider when necessary.
Additionally, to aid the shift in the needs of our customers, we have improved our drive-up & drop-off shredding service. After making your appointment, all you need to do is pull-up to our location, drop off your documents, and give payment right in our parking lot. This will be available to all St. Louis residents and businesses and will be offered Monday – Friday at 4pm.
All you need to do is call us at 314-729-9200 to book an appointment, pull up to our location, drop-off your documents and pay right in our parking lot.
If you yourself are under quarantine or are experiencing symptoms of illness, we would appreciate you disclosing that information so we can appropriately accommodate you and our staff.
We encourage you to review additional information and guidelines available at www.cdc.gov, www.who.int or your local health department website.
